On Monday, Katie bought a new pink leotard with her Mommy and then spilled chocolate milk all over it. Luckily it came out in the wash. Nancy wasn't feeling well so I took Katie to the class which meant that a) we were late and b) her ballet slippers weren't tied correctly. Fortunately Nancy dressed her before we left so there were no issues with her leotard or skirt.
Katie seemed to really enjoy it, especially running around in a circle and twirling. I was amazed at how well-behaved the kids were -- especially for the first class. The kids learned some basic moves and then dressed up like Fancy Nancy and acted out scenes from a book the teacher read to them.
Now Katie can't wait to go back!
Here's a long video of the first class. Parents aren't allowed in the room so we stand in the hallway and peak through the windows, which is why you can't really hear the music or the kids but can hear the parents.
Enjoy!
