The Wall

A few weeks ago, Katie visited the Maury Fall Festival. It's a fun event at a nearby elementary school that has moon bounces, pumpkin painting, good live music, face painting, and yummy food (this year it was from a new burger place in Old Town, BGR). An extra bonus was seeing our neighbor Liz there too.

We went to the same festival last year and Katie tried to go through an inflatable obstacle course. She tried and tried but was just a little too small to get over the first obstacle, despite the urgings of Liz (you can watch the video here). This year she was excited to see that the same wall was there and this time she was ready! She easily climbed the first wall and... well, I won't ruin the ending, but it was amazing to see how much she's grown in a year. At the end she hugged her Mommy and said, "We have to tell Liz!"
