Beverley Hills Fall Festival

Last week Katie went to her preschool's Fall Festival. She made a scarecrow that sits on our front stoop next to our jack-o-lantern. She also painted a trick-or-treat bag, ran around with her friends, played duck-duck-goose (her favorite game now after playing it with her Georgia cousins), and "freeze dancing" (you dance but stop when the music stops intermittently during the song).

Last year Nancy was on the fundraising committee and had to help plan and staff the event. So this year it was nice just to show up and enjoy it.

Here's a video of Katie "freeze dancing" with her friends at the festival. It's a little long but there are some cute moments throughout. One of my favorites is around the 4:50 mark when she suddenly becomes a ballet dancer. I think it's pretty obvious from the video that when Katie dances, she likes to lead.
