Today Nancy and Katie went to
Pumpkinville near Leesburg, VA. They were escaping all the noise from the roofers hammering our new roof together. Katie loved playing with the pumpkins and sitting in the hay. And now that the roof is finished, she's ready for the drought to end.

Jack is actually going to BE a pumpkin for Halloween. Or, more to the point, he will be a Jack-o-lantern. New roof? Don't you enjoy wintertime leaks?
