Last weekend we had a very nice dinner with our friends and ex-neighbors, the Hardings. We went to Pizza Paradiso in Old Town which was fantastic. The last time we ate at Pizza Paradiso was at their Dupont Circle location when we started dating. So it was neat to go back 11 years later with our 2 kids.
The beginning of May brought beautiful weather to DC and the annual May Day celebration at Katie's preschool. The kids danced around the Maypole, got their faces painted, and ate yummy food.
And last week we dog sat for Rusty's cousins, Clyde and Junebug, while their owners frolicked on the beaches of Puerto Rico. We kept the dogs for a few days in our house but it was a bit crowded so we spent the weekend at the farm. Everyone enjoyed having the extra space to run around.

Peter in his favorite sleeping position.

The seats were great at the Caps game but the team wasn't.

Katie and Peter with Cooper and Sophie (it was a little chilly near the water as Katie is demonstrating).

Rusty begs us to not have any more kids.

Rusty has been as patient with Peter as he was with Katie, especially during their grab-everything-you-see phase.

Tic Tac Toe, three in a row.

Peter loves pulling hair (and fur).

Junebug likes Peter's play mat.

He'll be crawling sooner than we think.

One of Katie's favorite things to do is to be pushed around in the firetruck.

One of Rusty's favorite things is to wade into the creek and chew sticks.

Katie makes "announcements" on the intercom while being pushed to the next fire emergency.
