Cozy time while sleeping in the basement.

Katie's hair after Nancy removed her Dominican braids after 2 weeks.
I popped in to Peter's preschool while Nancy was co-oping and got to play with him and his friends for a bit.

Katie practices her dance for her school's talent show, with help from Peter.

When in doubt, just smile and wave your arms.
Katie's performance at her school's talent show in a packed auditorium. Katie performed with 2 of her friends and did great. She continues to impress us with her fearlessness. When she first told us she wanted to perform in the Talent Show, we worried that it could go horribly wrong. But she proved us wrong, again. We're very proud of her!
Snow day!

Katie's ready for the cold

Sledding at our neighborhood park.
Wheeee!

Yay! Snow!

Peter wrestles Katie regardless of the weather.

Getting towed home by Nancy.

Going for a nighttime walk in our beautiful snowy neighborhood.

At Peter's school with Rusty.

Rusty checks out the snowy backyard

Someone's been sticking their nose in the snow.

John and Sue's farm

Peter tries out the violin

Katie the virtuoso

Rusty's ready for Mardi Gras. That's the same look I have when I think, "Why do I have to give something up?"

The boys

Towing the kids with a long pool noodle at Katie's birthday party

Katie's birthday party

The boys stay on the periphery

Happy Birthday Katie!
Maybe turning out the lights wasn't such a good idea for the video.

The "mermaid food" that Katie and Nancy put together (it was a very clever use of Jelly Beans, I think)

The boys in matching shirts

Story time

Peter on a picnic in our yard with his friend and neighbor Imogene

Darn those kids!

Peter and his Pooh Bears

Bedtime at Sue and John's farm

Junie sleeps in her favorite spot.

Rusty waits for me to come home from work (I assume).

The kids try fishing in Sue and John's pond

At an Easter Egg hunt at Manassas Park.

Found one!

Our little boy is growing up.
