Katie in Ocean City

Last weekend we went to Ocean City, Maryland for some quality time on the beach. We stayed at our neighbors Bob and Carol's condo which worked out well. It was a short walk to the beach and there was a pool we could use, which Katie liked. Katie loved running around on the beach and putting sand in her pail and then dumping it out, usually on her lap. Carol was kind enough to get a small beach chair for Katie and a plastic shovel and pail. Katie loved them and even enjoyed sitting in her beach chair in the living room.

The weather was very hot and unfortunately the ocean was too cold to cool off in. But it was nice hanging out on the beach and chasing after Katie. It was Senior Week at the beach so we got to be simultaneously amused by and annoyed at all the 17 year olds at the beach. They were better behaved than we expected.
