At the end of the class, they had a short ceremony and handed out a ribbon to each participant. The teacher would call a child's name who would walk up to the platform, receive the ribbon, and stand there for a moment with their arms raised while everyone clapped. Most of the children did that with modesty and grace except for one -- lil' Katie. She was so excited when they called her name that she ran up the steps, took the ribbon, and when people clapped she excitedly clapped along with them and shrieked with excitement. The poor teacher was trying to raise Katie's arms but she was too busy clapping. I wish I caught the amusing event on camera but instead I only got one slightly blurry photo that doesn't do it justice.
The photos are a bit blurry and grainy because they were taken with my cell phone camera at max zoom.

The class started with everyone in a circle doing the warmup exercises.
