Bye Bye Ballet

Last week Katie's ballet class came to an end and they had a picnic and group photo session. She loved going each week and liked wearing her tutu, tights, and leotard around the house. She was the youngest one in the class, the others were all 4 years old. You would have never known by watching her though. She kept up with the rest of the kids and would beam with joy when she danced. Each class would conclude with a story and a reenactment -- with costumes! Then she would come home and excitedly tell me all about it and dance around the house.

The rest of her summer has been spent playing outside, using her new ladybug umbrella in rain or shine, and helping Nancy water the plants.
