Super Bowl Weekend

Everyone seems to be back to full health and the big chill has relented a bit and allowed us to enjoy a few days in the relatively balmy 40's! Last Sunday we went for our first official family walk around the neighborhood with Peter. During the walk, Peter enjoyed being snuggled next to his Mommy in the baby carrier and Katie liked throwing snowballs at her Daddy. Rusty was happy just to keep moving and not being targeted by the snowballs.

On Saturday we had brunch at Whitlow's with Theo, Sue, John and his sisters Kay and Debbie, who brought her cute 8 month old daughter Annie. Katie had fun talking with Kay and Debbie. It was nice seeing everyone.

On Sunday we went to a Super Bowl party hosted by our friends Kathy and John in the beautiful house. Their layout was perfect. There was a kids' playroom on one end, a huge tv on the other, and a big bar in the middle. Katie had fun playing with the kids and befriended one 5th grade girl in particular, Julie, but wouldn't leave her alone. The poor girl had Katie following her around all night but handled it well. Katie didn't see much of the game but enjoyed watching the halftime show and copied some of the glowing dancers.
