Michael had some friends and family over to celebrate with him. He had a nice cake with a photo-realistic photo of him made out of icing. We had no idea that places could do that. Nancy said it was really nice but a little strange to eat Michael's ear. But he apparently has yummy ears so it was fine. He received several nice presents including a Kindle. As always, the Suetas were great hosts and everyone had a nice visit.
After Scranton, they stopped by New Jersey to visit a relative in a nursing home. Everyone there loved Peter and Nancy wasn't sure if they were going to give him back.
After Jersey they went to Naugatuck to stay with Grandma Butler for a few days. Katie had lots of fun running around the backyard. Peter didn't seem to like laying in the grass though. One day they went strawberry picking and brought back a huge basketful. Another day they met up with a friend of Nancy's and Katie got to play with her son on a playground.
Then they made the long trip home and Rusty and I were very happy to see them.
