Katie started kindergarten on Sept 4th. She was very nervous and weepy in the days leading up to the first day. She was worried about the longer school day, being sent to the principal's office if she was tardy, and worried about not having Nancy co-oping in the classroom. But she plowed through like a champ and made it with no problems. Katie was so excited when Nancy picked her up after school that she ran towards Nancy and gave her a big hug. Then they went out for ice cream to celebrate.
