May Days

The month of May came and went with a blur.  The month began with the sudden passing of Grandma Butler and ended with her funeral.  In between we tried to carry on but with heavy hearts.  We knew our time with her was winding down but it happened quicker than anyone realized.  Nancy and her sisters visited her the weekend before she passed.  We miss her.

Katie handled it well.  We gave her the option of going to the funeral but she declined, which was a good decision for her.  Katie and Peter were both very well behaved during the week in Naugatuck which was much appreciated.  It was nice seeing so many friends and relatives we haven't seen in so long.  We hope to see them again soon under happier circumstances.

Nancy and Peter went to Naugatuck after her passing, leaving Katie and I home.  So what happens during a Katie & Daddy weekend?
