The 4th in Georgia

We went down to Georgia for the Fourth of July and had a great time.  We had a blast at Melinda's fabulously fun house and pool.  They were great hosts.  It was really nice spending time with everyone including the Schneiders, the Cockrells, and Grandma Thomason.

The week flew by but we had a lot of fun.  We went fishing, swam in the pool every day (including in the rain), played ping-pong, air hockey, billiards, foosball, and basketball.  We also watched Kaylyn's great movie on their trip to California and Aunt Lisa's fun movie on Steven's baseball team and Cassidy's softball team.

Unfortunately, the only fireworks we saw were on tv.  The local displays were cancelled due to rain.  Luckily, Aunt Melinda had some sparklers that the kids enjoyed.


On the way down to Georgia, we stopped in Greensboro, NC to have breakfast with my cousins Mike and Lisa and their grandkids.  It was great to see them again.  I think it's been about 4 years since we last saw them.


We spent the night at Grandma's house and played dress up.
