The month began with Nancy and Peter going to Naugatuck for the weekend to take care of Grammy's house. Katie and I stayed behind to make 1 million trips to our new storage unit as we scrambled to get our place decent enough to show. Katie was a huge help and loved going to the storage unit. We had a nice routine down and made a nice team.
Peter turned 3 this month and was really excited about it. He had a celebration day at his preschool and then we went to the Aunt Sue and Uncle John's farm to have cake and presents.
For Thanksgiving we went back to the farm for a great dinner with Aunt Sue and Uncle John.
The rest of the month we worked to clear all the hurdles with buying and selling a home including the inspections, the financing, and signing lots of documents. Luckily we could sign them electronically from our phones which made the process easier.
We still have a lot of work to do before we can move but we're very excited about being in our new home!

Leave it to Peter

Sleepy time at the Princess' castle.

It's amazing what you find when you aren't looking. We found a house we loved, put our place on the market, and it sold the next day!

Sold!

We only had a week to get our house ready to sell so we got a storage unit to throw as much of our stuff as possible in it. I thought the unit was going to be way too big to fill up...
...until we filled it up! Katie was a huge help. She would punch in the access code to get in to the storage building, get a cart, turn on all the lights, unlock the unit, and then ride on the cart back to the car.

Our new home!

Presents! Peter was really excited to open them...

...and Katie was just as excited to help him.

One of the crazy runners (me).

A great spot at the farm on a cold night.
