Also, we owe a big thanks to Aunt Sue and Uncle John for taking care of our kids for 4 days while Nancy and I went to Jamaica with my company. It was a fun trip and nice to get away but there were times when we wished they could be there with us. We sort of expected to hang out with the younger folks late into the night but decided that loud dance clubs weren't really our thing anymore. And then we realized that they were never our thing.
The rest of the month was spent playing in the snow, unpacking and settling into the house, and having fun together.

Katie plays in the snow after returning from Georgia

We spent a lot of time unpacking and settling into our new house. A big step was emptying the storage shed we rented while showing our old house. We were so happy to have everything out of storage... until it ended up in our sunroom.

Katie and Peter dance in front of the stage at a Rocknoceros concert.

After the show, Katie talks to her favorite member of Rocknoceros -- Willie Bob.

Jamaica!

The view from our room. It was one of our favorite resorts that we've stayed in.

Meanwhile, the kids had a great time at Aunt Sue and Uncle John's farm.

Sue and Katie had a girls' day out at the salon.

The boys stayed home and did boy things.

They celebrated Theo's 4th birthday at his grandparents house.

Happy Birthday Theo!

Ahoy!

It snowed the day after we got back from Jamaica. The day before we were wearing sandals and shorts!

Katie clears the snow off the Jeep.

The kids put on as many sweaters as possible in order to warm up.
