Snow day

Today it snowed for most of the day which was nice. We ended up with about 2-3 inches. This morning the Jeep slid out on my way to work. The roads in our neighborhood hadn't been plowed yet and I took a turn too fast. So I took the hint and drove back to the house and worked from home. Now it's sleeting so tomorrow should be even more slippery.

Katie got to play in the snow twice today. She and Nancy went for a walk this afternoon and then we took a family walk with Rusty in the evening. We bumped into James, a former co-worker of mine and a neighbor, with his dog. We found out his daughters attend the pre-school that we applied for. He said they love it, which was good to hear. We should find out next month whether we made the lottery. During the walk we found an untouched patch of snow and Katie laid down and made a snow angel. Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of it.

Here are some pictures of the snow today and some from earlier this week. More photos are here.
