September 2013

It's been a long time since our last post.  We'll try not to late that happen again.  September was busy and fun.  Katie had her first day of 1st grade, Peter had his 1st day of pre-school, and Nancy had what seemed like her first day alone at the house.

This is Katie's first grade class.  The teacher, Ms. Smith, is standing up behind her.  The boy sitting across from Katie told his Mom last year that he wants to marry Katie.

Peter at his preschool's playground.  Unfortunately, the playground is scheduled to be torn down later this month.  This represents the joy and happiness today, full of promise for many more happy days, quickly and bitterly being destroyed tomorrow.  He's destined to become a Caps fan.

Yeah, he's going to miss the playground.

Our lil' artist.  Actually, he usually just likes to cover the entire page with a color.

Hmm... how can I get out of this?

Peter's rollercoaster at a nearby park.  He loved it but it made Nancy a little nervous.
