Katie and the TV

Today Katie figured out how to turn off our tv. It's a sad day for her Dad. Why did they have to put the power button where she could reach it?

She's also started playing with our remote controls and has managed to switch our sound to mono (which made it hard to hear dialog), activated the timer which automatically shuts off the tv after 30 minutes, muted the sound, and somehow got our DVD player to display all the menus in Spanish. She's crafty.

Just wait. The remote should come with a low-jack with toddlers around. We couldn't find the remote one day and had a suspicion that little Steven had something to do with it, so I gave him another remote we had and sure enough he took it to the place he put the first remote behind the blinds on a window seal. I don't think we would have found it any other way.

Haha. We'll keep that trick in mind whenever we can't find the remote. And hopefully Katie will be able to find the remote when I'm the one that lost it.
