Bees, Princesses, and Crawling

Last weekend we went down to Charlottesville, VA to see the Georgia Tech crush UVA.  And, if you don't count the UVA touchdowns we missed because we were late, then the final score was 21-10 Georgia Tech.  Peter slept through large portions of the game, much like Georgia Tech did.  Katie seemed to enjoy herself.

Peter hit another big milestone when he started crawling last week.  He had been pretty good at going backwards and scooting around, but now he's full fledged crawling and our house may never be the same.  He loves crawling to a spot and grabbing everything in the vicinity -- newspapers, magazines, Rusty's toys, and even Rusty.

Today Katie and I went to see Disney on Ice.  It was a lot of fun and Katie dressed up like Snow White, along with every other girl there.  She saw lots of Disney princesses skate including Tiana ("Princess and the Frog"), Cinderella, and Rapunzel.  Her favorite, Ariel, made a brief appearance at the end along with Aurora ("Beauty and the Beast") and Jasmine ("Aladdin").  Mickey and Minnie Mouse were there too.  Afterwards, Katie wanted to find Ariel to say hi but the usher said she was getting ready for the next show.  When we got home, Katie immediately started pretending she was Rapunzel and wanted to do her same dance moves which involved being suspended high in the air with a rope and twirling around.   Fortunately, we weren't able to do the same in our living room with her bedsheet.

We're smiling so it must have been early in the game.
